Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with an assault investigation involving a victim under the age of 17 in Merrick.
Police said Kerron Anglin, 32, is wanted on a charge of third-degree assault with intent to cause physical injury, stemming from an incident in Merrick.
According to police, the alleged victim was younger than 17 years old.
Police described Anglin as a Black male, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities urge the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain him.
Anyone with information about Anglin’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nassau County Police Department. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Nassau County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
