Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Town Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man accused of stealing merchandise from a Riverhead store earlier this year.
According to police, the theft occurred at TJ Maxx, located at 1791 Old Country Road, on January 30 at approximately 2:45 p.m.
Investigators said the suspect stole a pair of Nike sneakers from the store before leaving the location.
Authorities have released a photo of the man and are asking anyone who recognizes him or has information about the incident to come forward.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential.
