SELDEN, NY — Suffolk County police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing more than $1,400 worth of DeWalt equipment from a Selden Home Depot.
Police said the man stole a DeWalt lawnmower and pressure washer from the store at 401 Independence Plaza at about 8:25 p.m. on Sept. 19.
The two items had a combined value of $1,408, police said.
Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the theft to come forward.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
