Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing more than $1,200 in clothing from a Hollister store in Lake Grove.
The theft occurred May 27 at approximately 7:45 p.m. at the Hollister located at 1 Smith Haven Mall, according to Suffolk County police.
Police said the man stole clothing valued at $1,254. Investigators released a surveillance image of the person they are seeking.
Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives and Crime Stoppers are investigating. No arrest had been announced as of the July 29 release.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app or visiting P3Tips.com.
Police said all calls, messages and emails will remain confidential.
