Suffolk County police have identified the 66-year-old Hicksville man who was killed when a truck he was working on rolled over him at an automotive service business.
Police said Thursday that the victim was Eliseo Colatosti of Hicksville.
The identification is an update to a story previously reported by LI True Crime following the Sept. 7 incident.
Police said officers responded at about 2:52 p.m. to an automotive service business at 880 South Oyster Bay Road in Hicksville after Colatosti was injured when a truck he was working on rolled over him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said no criminality is suspected.
The Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad is continuing the investigation.
