Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a grand larceny at a Nike store in Oceanside.
According to Crime Stoppers, the theft occurred on March 21, 2026, at approximately 4:17 p.m. at the Nike store located at 3557 Long Beach Road.
Investigators say the suspect entered the store and stole assorted merchandise before leaving the scene. Authorities have not released the total value of the items taken.
The case is being investigated as grand larceny, which in New York is typically charged when the value of stolen property exceeds a set monetary threshold, making it a more serious theft offense.
Police have released an image of the individual they are seeking to identify. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Crime Stoppers is urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously, and a reward of up to $5,000 may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
