NORTH LAWRENCE, N.Y. — Nassau County police are seeking a 38-year-old man wanted in connection with a robbery that caused physical injury in North Lawrence.
Police identified the wanted man as Wikash Sant. He is wanted on a charge of second-degree robbery involving physical injury, according to a Nassau County Police Department “Mugshot Monday” notice.
Police described Sant as an Asian/Pacific Islander man with black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities did not provide details about the alleged robbery, including when or where in North Lawrence it occurred or the extent of the victim’s injuries.
Police warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Sant.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. The department said information sent by message will be forwarded anonymously.
