Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man accused of stealing hundreds of dollars’ worth of merchandise from a local supermarket earlier this month.
According to investigators, the suspect took assorted meat products valued at approximately $380 from Stop & Shop, located at 1615 Old Country Road, at around 3:46 p.m. on March 1. The man then left the store without paying for the items.
Authorities have not released a description of the suspect, and the investigation remains ongoing.
