A 35-year-old man is accused of identity theft in Uniondale, according to Nassau County police and court records.
Police identified Mabrisio Lizama in a #MugshotMonday notice and said he was wanted for third-degree identity theft. Police alleged Lizama used another person’s identity to obtain goods or cause a financial loss.
Court records show the case stems from an incident on July 28, 2025. Lizama was arrested by Nassau County police on Aug. 16, 2025, and pleaded not guilty at his arraignment the following day.
He was charged with two counts of third-degree identity theft, falsifying business records and falsely reporting an incident, along with several vehicle-related offenses, according to court records.
Those vehicle charges include aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, failure to report an accident and operating without insurance, a license, registration or an inspection certificate.
Lizama was released with non-monetary conditions following his arraignment.
A bench warrant was issued in the case on May 12, 2026, court records show. The warrant was vacated during a court appearance on Sept. 1.
Lizama is scheduled to return to Nassau District Court on Sept. 16 before Judge Michele M. Johnson.
