Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man accused of stealing $1,000 worth of merchandise from a Port Jefferson Station business last month.
According to police, the suspect stole approximately $1,000 worth of steaks from Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace, located at 1108 Route 112, on February 4 at approximately 10:15 a.m.
Authorities have not released additional details about the suspect but are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting www.P3Tips.com. All calls, text messages, and emails will be kept confidential.
As with all investigations, a suspect is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
