The Force will be strong at Fox Hollow this December.
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, from noon to 4 p.m., the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County (CP Nassau) will host its annual Sugar Plum Ball and Galactic Gala, a family-friendly event that mixes fairy-tale sparkle with intergalactic flair, all to support a meaningful cause.
The Sugar Plum Ball began more than thirty years ago as a traditional father-daughter dance, but attendance had started to decline. In 2019, organizers reimagined it with a new Galactic Gala theme and enlisted members of the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Saber Guild to add a science fiction twist. The addition of Jedi, Stormtroopers, and other costumed heroes helped transform the event into a celebration that appeals to both girls and boys.
