Police Seek Man Accused of Stealing Nearly $1,000 in Groceries From Selden Aldi

Suffolk County police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing nearly $1,000 worth of groceries from a Selden Aldi during two visits on consecutive days in August.

Police said the man stole approximately $425 worth of groceries from the Aldi at 614 Middle Country Road at about 7:25 p.m. Aug. 17.

He returned to the store the following day and allegedly stole approximately $512 worth of groceries, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the thefts to come forward.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, through the P3 Tips app or online at P3Tips.com.
