Nassau County police are asking the public for help locating a 44-year-old woman wanted on a weapon charge connected to an incident in North Lawrence.
Police identified the woman as Griselle Menoyo-Montes. She is wanted for third-degree criminal possession of a weapon involving a previous conviction, according to a Nassau County Police Department Warrant Wednesday notice.
Menoyo-Montes is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said anyone with information about her whereabouts should contact the department. Information can be provided anonymously.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Menoyo-Montes themselves.
