An 18-year-old Elmont man was arrested Tuesday after Nassau County police said officers found flavored vape products, kratom and assorted THC products displayed for sale at a Valley Stream gas station.
The Fifth Precinct Problem Oriented Police Unit conducted an investigation at the Valero Gas Station at 758 Franklin Ave. at about 5:20 p.m. Sept. 8, police said.
During the investigation, officers observed a large quantity of flavored vape products, kratom and assorted tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, products displayed for sale, according to police.
Amritpreet Singh, of Elmont, was arrested as a result of the investigation.
Singh was charged with sale of restricted products, prohibited sale of flavored products, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlicensed cannabis sale and disorderly premise.
He was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, Sept. 9, at First District Court in Hempstead.
