A masked man broke through the front glass door of All American Hamburger Drive-In in Massapequa early Monday morning before fleeing, according to Nassau County police.
The burglary occurred at about 4:10 a.m. Aug. 17 at the longtime restaurant at 4286 Merrick Road.
Police said the unidentified man broke the front glass door and entered the business before leaving in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as wearing camouflage cargo shorts, a black shirt, black sneakers and a red face covering.
Police did not say whether anything was taken from the restaurant.
All American Hamburger Drive-In opened in 1963 and has become a longtime fixture on Merrick Road in Massapequa.
The investigation remains ongoing.
