Police have identified the 18-year-old man who was fatally stabbed in Hempstead over the weekend as Michael David Grajeda Suazo, of Hempstead.
According to Nassau County Homicide Squad detectives, officers responded to an aided call at about 9:25 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, in front of 545 Fulton Ave.
When officers arrived, they found Grajeda Suazo suffering from puncture wounds to his torso. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead by a physician, police said.
Detectives have not announced any arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
