Nassau County police are searching for a missing 15-year-old boy who was last seen leaving his Hempstead home early Friday morning.
According to the Missing Persons Squad, Joel Villatoro was last seen leaving his residence in Hempstead at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22. Police said his disappearance was reported later that day at about 1 p.m.
Joel is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-8 and approximately 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Detectives said no clothing description or possible destination is known at this time.
