Baldwin Man, 75, Missing Since Monday Morning After Leaving Home In White Toyota Camry

Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 75-year-old man who disappeared from Baldwin earlier this week.

According to detectives, Joseph Puglisi was last seen leaving his Baldwin residence on Monday, May 18, 2026, at approximately 6 a.m. The case was reported to police later that evening at 7:54 p.m.

Police said Puglisi’s destination is unknown.

He is described as a White male with gray and white hair and a gray beard. He stands approximately 5-foot-6 and weighs about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants and a blue shirt.

Detectives said Puglisi may be operating a white 2004 Toyota Camry bearing New York registration MBX 7166.

The Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad is continuing the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding Puglisi’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. Police said all callers will remain anonymous.
