Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman wanted in connection with a menacing case involving a child in North Valley Stream.
Police identified the woman as 42-year-old Keiva King. Authorities said she is wanted for second-degree menacing involving what investigators described as a weapon-related incident involving a person under the age of 17.
The incident occurred in North Valley Stream, according to Nassau County Police Department officials. Police did not release additional details about the circumstances surrounding the case.
Authorities have not publicly identified where King lives.
Police described King as a Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5-foot-2 and weighs about 135 pounds.
Investigators warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain her.
Anyone with information about King’s whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. Authorities said tips can be submitted anonymously.
The investigation remains ongoing.
