Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of smashing a window at a Babylon business last month.
Police said the vandalism happened at Spalax, located at 38 East Main St. in Babylon, on April 21 at approximately 1:20 a.m. Investigators said a man used a brick to break one of the business’s windows.
Authorities released surveillance images showing the suspect wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans at the time of the incident.
The investigation is being handled by Suffolk County Police First Precinct Crime Section officers and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app, or visiting P3Tips.com. Police said all calls, text messages, and emails will remain confidential.
