Gossip Gentleman’s Club Owner Cited During Multi-Agency Inspection in Melville

The owner of Gossip Gentleman’s Club, a Melville strip club, was cited Friday night after Suffolk County Police and multiple agencies conducted an inspection following a community complaint.

Police said officers from the Second Precinct Crime Section joined the Suffolk County Police Human Trafficking Unit, the New York State Liquor Authority, the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal, and a Town of Huntington ordinance inspector during an SLA inspection at the Broad Hollow Road business at approximately 11:35 p.m. Friday.

Authorities said the inspection was launched in response to a complaint from the community.

The club’s owner, Brian Rosenberg, 61, of Garden City, was issued five violations of New York State Alcoholic Beverage Control law, according to police.

Officials said the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal also issued seven fire code violations to the establishment during the inspection.

Police said investigators with the State Liquor Authority observed additional violations and will continue investigating the Melville business.

Rosenberg is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on May 29. Authorities noted that the charges are accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
