Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of stealing merchandise from a Coram store earlier this month.
According to police, the theft occurred at Home Depot, located at 346 Middle Country Road, on April 15 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Investigators say a man took a Milwaukee M18 battery valued at $199 and left the store.
No description of the suspect has been released.
The case is being investigated by officers assigned to the Sixth Precinct Crime Section. Authorities have not said whether the suspect was confronted or how he exited the store.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
