An unknown suspect broke into a Valley Stream real estate office early Monday morning and stole thousands in cash and electronics, according to Nassau County police.
Detectives said the burglary occurred at approximately 1:12 a.m. on April 20 at Best American Homes Realty, located at 1561 Central Avenue in Valley Stream.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the business and removed approximately $9,500 in U.S. currency along with multiple electronic devices, including several phones. The individual then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a backpack. No additional description has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to identify the person responsible.
