Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a forgery case in Hewlett.
Police said Christian Munoz Noriega, 32, is wanted for second-degree forgery involving an official document. Authorities listed Hewlett as the location of the incident.
Munoz Noriega is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-11 and about 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain him. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. Tips can be submitted by message, and police said those messages will be forwarded anonymously.
A criminal accusation is not a conviction.
