Valley Stream ATM Vandalism Causes $2,000 in Damage, Police Seek Suspect

Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with a criminal mischief case involving damage to an ATM in Valley Stream.

According to Nassau County Crime Stoppers, the incident happened on May 1, 2026, at approximately 7:46 p.m. at the Chase Bank branch located at 270 North Central Avenue.

Police said the suspect entered the bank and intentionally damaged an ATM machine. Authorities estimated the damage at approximately $2,000.

Investigators released a surveillance image of the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Crime Stoppers said all calls will remain anonymous.
