Police Seek Woman Accused of Stealing $900 in Merchandise from Three Suffolk Target Stores

A woman is being sought by police after allegedly carrying out a one-day shoplifting spree across three Suffolk County Target stores.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Precinct officers say the suspect stole merchandise valued at approximately $900 from Target locations in Medford, Selden, and Central Islip on April 7.

Authorities allege the same woman targeted all three stores on the same day, taking items without paying.

Police have not released a description of the suspect.

The incidents are being investigated as petit larceny, a misdemeanor under New York law that applies to thefts involving property valued at $1,000 or less.
