Suffolk County police are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a man and woman accused of stealing assorted beauty products from a Target in South Setauket.
Police said the theft happened at the Target at 265 Pond Path at about 2:14 p.m. on Aug. 1.
The Suffolk County Police Department released images of the two people being sought as part of a Crime Stoppers alert issued Aug. 11. Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are investigating.
Police did not disclose the value of the merchandise taken.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app or visiting P3Tips.com. Police said all tips will remain confidential.
