BALDWIN, NY — Nassau County police are searching for Devone Medlock, who is wanted in connection with an attempted second-degree assault charge stemming from an incident in Baldwin.
The department’s wanted poster describes the allegation as involving a person 18 or older causing injury to a person younger than 7. Police did not release additional details about the incident.
Medlock, 37, is described as a Black man with a bald head and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Medlock.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the Nassau County Police Department. Police said messages can be submitted anonymously.
