Police provided an update in the investigation into a Chase Bank robbery in Commack, releasing a photo of the man they are trying to identify.
The robbery happened Friday, Aug. 14, at approximately 4:45 p.m. at the Chase Bank at 39 Vanderbilt Motor Parkway, according to Suffolk County police.

Police said a man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied, and the man fled on foot.
The man was described as white and between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. Police said he was wearing a baseball cap, possibly with a camouflage pattern, sunglasses, a white dress shirt, black pants and black shoes.
The newly released image shows the man police are seeking in connection with the robbery.
Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are investigating.
