Nassau County police are seeking a 33-year-old man wanted in connection with a choking case in Elmont.
Police identified the wanted man as Jonathan DeBellis. Authorities said the incident occurred in Elmont but did not provide additional details about what allegedly happened or when it occurred.
DeBellis is described as a white man, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes.
Police warned members of the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain DeBellis.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. The department said information can be submitted anonymously through a message to its social media accounts.
