A man robbed a TD Bank in Lake Ronkonkoma on Friday evening after handing a teller a note demanding cash, Suffolk County police said.
The robbery happened at about 5:15 p.m. May 8 at the TD Bank at 474 Portion Road, according to Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives.
Police said the man entered the bank, gave the teller a note demanding money and fled on foot after the teller complied.
No injuries were reported in the release, and police did not immediately provide a description of the suspect or say how much money was stolen.
Major Case Unit detectives are investigating the robbery.
