Suffolk County police arrested a 48-year-old Huntington Station man Friday after an investigation into damage to a Flock camera in Hauppauge last month.
Russell Clough was arrested at his home on Old Country Road in Huntington Station at 5:12 p.m. Aug. 14, police said.
The investigation began July 23, when Fourth Precinct officers responded to a 911 call reporting that a Flock camera in Hauppauge appeared to have been spray-painted.
Property Auto Crime Section detectives investigated and later arrested Clough.
Clough was charged with third-degree criminal mischief. He was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
