Police are searching for an 18-year-old man who has been missing from Freeport since Monday and may be in need of medical attention.
According to the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad, Glen Person III was last seen leaving his Freeport residence on Monday, May 18 at approximately 1 p.m. The disappearance was reported to police later that night at 10:13 p.m.
Detectives described Person as a Black male standing 5-foot-11 and weighing about 165 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes. Police said he has braces and a scar over his right eye.
Authorities said his clothing description and intended destination are unknown. Investigators believe he may be riding a blue-and-white beach cruiser-style bicycle.
Police also said Person may be in need of medical attention.
The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information about Glen Person III’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. Callers can remain anonymous.
