A 40-year-old Roosevelt man has been identified as the victim of a homicide in Uniondale early Monday morning, Nassau County police said.
Police identified the victim as Tadeo Alvarado-Chavez.
First Precinct officers responded to a 911 call for an aided person near 979 Nassau Road at approximately 4:05 a.m. on Sept. 14, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
Officers found Alvarado-Chavez at the scene, where he was pronounced dead by a Nassau County police medic.
Police have not released additional details about how Alvarado-Chavez died or the circumstances surrounding the homicide.
The investigation remains ongoing.
