Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a 48-year-old man wanted in connection with an aggravated driving while intoxicated case in Elmont.
Jeovany Ayala Rodas is wanted on a charge alleging an alcohol level of .18% or higher and one prior conviction within the previous 10 years, according to police.
Police described Rodas as a Hispanic man with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police. Messages sent to the department will be forwarded anonymously.
Police warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain Rodas.
The allegations are accusations, and Rodas is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
