Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a 34-year-old man wanted in connection with a burglary in Elmont.
Vaughn Kelly is wanted on a charge of third-degree burglary, which police described as illegally entering a property with the intent to commit a crime.
Police described Kelly as a Black man with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
Authorities did not provide additional information about the alleged burglary, including when or where in Elmont it occurred.
Anyone with information about Kelly’s whereabouts is asked to contact Nassau County police or send the department a message through its official social media accounts. Police said messages can be forwarded anonymously.
Members of the public should not attempt to apprehend or detain him.
