Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a woman wanted in connection with charges including child endangerment and shoplifting tied to an incident in East Garden City.
Police identified the woman as Jessenia Perez Guzman, 33. Authorities said she is wanted for an alleged act in a manner injure a child less than 17, along with shoplifting charges.
According to Nassau County Police, the incident took place in East Garden City. Additional details about the alleged offense were not immediately released.
Police described Perez Guzman as a Hispanic woman with black hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5-foot-1 and weighs about 175 pounds.
Nassau County Police released Perez Guzman’s photo as part of its ongoing “#MugshotMonday” effort to locate wanted individuals.
Authorities urged anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact police. Officials also warned the public not to attempt to apprehend or detain her.
The investigation remains ongoing.
