22 Comic Book Shops On Long Island to Feed the Beast of the Most Avid Collector (or Casual Reader)

It’s rare to find a locally owned bookstore nowadays. There are a few across Long Island like The Next Chapter, which sprang up to replace Book Revue after it closed and Theodore’s Books in Oyster Bay owned by former Congressman Steve Israel. But, an independent comic book shop can still be found near most towns across Long Island. You can still pick up read comics, flip through them, talk to like-minded fans, knowledgeable store owners and collectors, and even meet and greet with some of your favorite writers and artists on occasion.
