ELMONT, N.Y. — Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of stealing merchandise from an Elmont supermarket earlier this month.
Police said the man stole merchandise from Sanjha Punjab supermarket at 1631 Dutch Broadway at approximately 6:28 p.m. Sept. 5.
Authorities released surveillance images of the man as part of a Crime Stoppers information request issued Sept. 22. Police did not disclose what was taken or the value of the merchandise.
Anyone who can identify the man or has information about the theft can submit an anonymous tip to Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477) or nassaucountycrimestoppers.com.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information.
