Nassau County police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with a weapon possession case in East Meadow.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, Jason Scott, 44, is wanted on a charge of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree involving a previous conviction.
Police said the incident occurred in East Meadow.
Scott is described as a Black male with bald hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5-foot-7.
Authorities released Scott’s photograph as part of the department’s ongoing effort to locate wanted individuals.
Police are urging anyone who knows Scott’s whereabouts not to approach or attempt to detain him. Instead, anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement. Nassau County police said all messages will be forwarded anonymously.
The investigation remains ongoing.
