Long Island Tabletop Gaming Expo 2026

Head to the expo for role playing games, board games, card games, meniture games, live experiences, and vendors. Held Saturday, March 7th from 10am – 9pm and Sunday, March 8th from 10am – 5pm. LI TCG Show

The Long Island TCG Show is a paradise for trading card fans, bringing together collectors, players, and vendors under one roof. Browse an incredible selection of Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering cards, from rare vintage pulls to the latest releases. Brook Con

Brook Con returns to Stony Brook University for a full weekend of anime, gaming, and fandom culture—all organized by students who clearly know their audience. This two-day convention packs in an Artist Alley, Vendors Hall, cosplay contest, and the fan-favorite “Brook Con Live~!?” show, alongside a wide mix of panels that range from interactive and competitive to deep-dive discussions on anime and fandom. There’s also a video game lounge to jump into between sessions, plus guest appearances that round out the experience. One ticket covers both days, making it an easy pick for a full weekend of fandom energy.

HurriCon

Hurricon 2026

HurriCon is a unique, community-driven comic art convention in East Rockaway that blends fandom with a meaningful mission. Known as Long Island’s only benefit comic con, it brings together artists, writers, cosplay, collectibles, and raffles, with all proceeds supporting Bethany Congregational Church and its ongoing community programs.

CradleCon

One of Long Island’s largest conventions for science fiction, fantasy, anime and comic fans. Find yourself lost in a sea of cosplayers, vendors, panels, games, and special guests. Pop-Con Patchogue

Pop Con transforms the Patchogue-Medford Library into a full-on fandom hub for the day, featuring a 20+ vendor Artist Alley packed with comics, collectibles, and original art, a cosplay contest judged by pros Rizuki and TAFKAR Designs, and appearances from voice actors Bill Lobley (Arcane, BioShock Infinite, GTA) and Dick Terhune (Transformers: Cyberverse, World of Warcraft). Throughout the day, you can jump into panels like Behind the Mic and Upgrade Your Cosplay, compete in a Super Smash Bros. tournament, build your first D&D character, or trade cards at the Trading Card Wall. There’s also a Pokémon Stamp Rally with prizes, arcade and board games, LEGO displays and build challenges, live video game music performances, and hands-on activities like pixel art, button making, and superhero caricatures. Add in food trucks, a Toast Coffee pop-up, a life-sized TARDIS photo op, and live painting outside, and it’s a surprisingly stacked, community-driven con experience all under one roof.

MakerFaire Long Island

Maker Faire Long Island is a high-energy, hands-on celebration of creativity that brings together inventors, artists, engineers, and makers of all kinds for a full day of interactive exhibits, live demos, and DIY experiences. Often called the “Greatest Show and Tell on Earth,” it invites attendees to explore everything from robotics and 3D printing to science experiments and large-scale art, all designed to spark curiosity and inspire your next big idea.

LI Tropic Con

Troopercon

TrooperCon is a free, family-friendly Star Wars fan event hosted in partnership with the 501st Legion, bringing screen-accurate costumes, movie-quality props, and hands-on fandom to venues across Long Island. Designed as an immersive but approachable convention experience, TrooperCon gives fans the chance to meet costumers, learn how armor is built and worn, explore Star Wars characters up close, and connect with sister groups like Rebel Legion and Saber Guild. They focus on accessibility, education, and community, blending cosplay, charity, and behind-the-scenes insight into what makes Star Wars fandom thrive.

Extrava Con

ExtravaCon returns for its second year built around variety, accessibility, and late-fall timing. Created by Long Island TCG Show founder Rebecca Seepersad, the event blends comics, toys, artists, collectibles, celebrity guests, and cosplay into a balanced, family-friendly experience without overloading any single fandom. With an expanding cosplay lineup and interactive fan elements, ExtravaCon is creating another space where fans can meet, participate, and engage directly with the fandoms they love.

HurriCon

Hurricon 2026

HurriCon returns later in the year with another full day of comics, art, and community, continuing its mission of celebrating geek culture while giving back. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, unique vendors, and a strong sense of local connection that sets this con apart.
